Arroyo: Don't judge! Duterte probably has his own reasons for ordering PNP to to reinstate Supt. Marcos

Former President and now Rep. Gloria Arroyo said President Rodrigo Duterte should not be judged for ordering the reinstatement of controversial policeman Supt. Marvin Marcos.
"When you are president, you get a lot of information that nobody else knows. So nobody can really judge your actions," said Arroyo, who served a president for nine years, from 2001 to 2010.
"So I can't judge his actions because I don't have all the information that he has," she added.
Marcos was part of the CIDG team that killed Albuera Mayor Rolando Espinosa inside his detention cell in Leyte in what they claimed was a shootout . The policemen were then serving a search warrant to Espinosa, who was being linked to the illegal drug trade in the Visayas.
Dela Rosa had ordered Marcos' suspension after the policeman was linked to illegal drugs. The PNP chief, however, ended up taking back the suspension for "humanitarian reasons" after being asked to by a supposed "kumpare."
President Rodrigo Duterte would later confirm that he was the one who ordered Marcos' reinstatement.
