President Duterte listed as one of the ‘most powerful’ in the world by Forbes


On December 14 at Published online, President Duterte entered the list at 70th place. The list features 74 personalities—"one person out of every 100 million whose action meant the most."
Dutere ranks above al-Qaeda's Ayman al-Zawahiri (71st), Las Vegas Sands' Sheldon Adelson (72nd), Founders Fund's Peter Thiels (73rd), and US Senator Chuck Schumer (74th). 
Duterte is one of 11 new names on the list. Newcomers also include Theresa May, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (13th); Travis Kalanick, CEO of Uber (64th); Bob Iger, CEO of The Walt Disney Company (67th); and Mike Pence, Vice President-Elect of the United States (69th).
At the top of the list is Russian President Vladimir Putin, followed by US President-elect Donald Trump. German Chancellor Angela Merkel is in 3rd place, Chinese President Xi Jinping is in 4th, and Pope Francis is in 5th. 
Bill Gates (7th) and Mark Zuckerberg (10th) help complete the Top 10.
Outgoing US President Barack Obama fell to 48th place. 
Tesla Motors' Elon Musk (21st), French President Francois Hollande (23rd), Alibaba's Jack Ma (28th), Apple's Tim Cook (32nd), Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe (37th), North Korea's Kim Jong-un (43rd), Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau (66th) and Uber's Travis Kalanick (68th) also made the list.
